  • 454 grams (1 lb) of melt and pour white soap base
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 3 teaspoons lavender essential oil
  • 1 pinch of activated charcoal
  • 1 teaspoon of purple coloring (food coloring, mica, beet root powder)

Separate the soap base into 2 bowls. I heated one in the microwave and the other in a double-boiler on the stovetop.

Put the coloring and poppy seeds in one batch (double-boiler) and the essential oil in the other.

Simply pour into the molds and swirl the 2 soap batches together.
